My day today.

Today while Nicole was out with the recruiters i went to go look at the San jacinto monument. I had not been there since i was in school. It was neat to go back and see it again. It was so foggy i loved it.

Saturday morning.

Marcus and i went down to the river for a few minutes to Sit and talk. He explained how to catch a buzzard and put it in a giant jar.

Catching up, Beanies and all

Well it seems that my excitement for my blog must have waned a bit so I've decided to play catch up. It's been a busy week so far. Yesterday Sarah and I went to court to finalize our divorce. After that we had a very nice day together talking and playing Scrabble. I had not really played Scrabble much before and I'm happy to report I did quite well. Tuesday evening Marcus and I went over to Leah's place and ran off with her two tubs of Beanie Babies. So we counted them and put the names into an Excel spreadsheet. Marcus was so helpful. He would take one out of the tub hold it up look at the tush tag and tell me the name and I'd type it in then I'd say "animal" and he would tell me what kind of animal it was. We did this in a effort to find valuable ones and put them for sale on Ebay. Now we are at this point halfway through looking up the prices on all 142 Beanie Babies and have become somewhat disheartened to learn that not many of them are worth very much in todays Beanie market. I've not heard from Lauren in the last week or so which kinda bums me out as I'm used to chatting with her during the day. Where are you woman? Say hi to Matt and B for me.
Oh Oh before I forget. Nicole and I went to Target last night and bought Vienna Sausages for dinner. I'm pretty sure those things are terrible for you but they always tasted great to me.

We were at guitar center today. The guy in the dJ room showed him how to use the equipment. He was a natural. Marcus totally rocked the room.

He took too much off! Ok, I have to admit that when I first got this haircut I didn't like it at all.
2 Days later I'm quite fond of it.

Our Company Picnic's Cake Walk.

Our Company Picnic is was today. I made a video of me MCing the Cakewalk.
I also got to call the numbers for Bingo. I've had lots of fun today. They had a singer singing tejano Music. We had BBQ food catered. Oh and there was large trailer with big screen TVs with Xbox and Nintendo Wii. So I played Mario Kart Wii and Bowling with Amy and Yvette.
I think I've eaten a bit too much and I had a Dr. Pepper. My tummy hurt a little while ago but I'll live. Tonight I get to chill with Nicole at Jake and Manda's place. They are great people.
Oh yea Nicole passed her test this morning so all of our weekend plans are still good to go.

Today we went to the zoo in San antonio for the first time since he was about 4. The weather was really nice and the animals were plenty.

Nicole took lots of pictures of Flowers at the San Antonio Zoo today. We all had a really nice time. Marcus used the map and played the part of Tour Guide all day.

Marcus focused on Castle Crashers

Here we are on saturday afternoon relaxing. We went to the mall an hour before the stores opened quite accidentally and had a wonderful time looking around. At Hot Topic he got a Legend Of Zelda wristband. We came back to the house and played Castle Crashers together. Tomorrow its off to the San Antonio Zoo and the Tower of the Americas.

Leaving the mall

Tonight Marcus, Nicole, and I went to the Rivercenter Mall in San Antonio. It was fun, we went to Bath and Body Works and Victoria Secret. Marcus isn't as fond of Victoria Secret so he and I went to look at Anime Zone while Nicole shopped a bit. Anime Zone has to be his new favorite store. They have tons of Nintendo items as well as Final Fantasy things. Oh my personal favorite was the Altair figure from Assassin's Creed. Nicole bought Marcus some neat Halloween soap oh and a scented night light at Bath and Body works. It's a pretty strong night light. There was a bit of traffic on the way home so we went right to bed when we got back.

Most mornings we go and have breakfast at the Palm Cafe in San Marcos. It is just down the road from my parents house. They charge just 2.99 for 3 yummy tacos. It has become routine and when we arrive they bring my coffee. :-)
